Samsung has displayed three new Android Gingerbread powered phones, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy mini 2, and Galaxy Note 10.1 at the MWC.
The Galaxy Beam is mainly a projector smartphone. The phone allows
users to share business information, maps, photos, videos and games
instantly on a high-definition projection, which can be expanded up to
50-inches wide whether in indoors or outdoors.
The smartphone is equipped with 1GHz dual-core processor and has a
4-inch WVGA display. The phone packs a 5-MP rear camera and 1.3 MP front
camera. This device has an 6GB RAM and 8GB internal memory, with
microSD slot for up to 32GB. It also allows connectivity through HSPA
14.4 and USB 2.0. The Galaxy Beam runs on 2000 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace 2
supports Samsung's Music Hub, Games Hub and Social Hub. This phone has a
3.8 inch WVGA display, and packs 800MHz dual-core processor. All along,
it is loaded with a 5 MP rear camera and front VGA camera.
It allows connectivity through HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and NFC.
The phone has 768MB RAM and 4GB internal memory with micro SD slot
expandable up to 32 GB, and runs on 1500mAh battery. The Galaxy Ace 2
will first be released in UK from April.
The third smartphone, Galaxy mini 2,
is said to be designed to meet the requirements of resource-intensive
apps and allows convenient web browsing. Just like the Ace 2, this phone
also allows access to Samsung's Music and Social Hub.
In addition, the
Mini 2 also provides access to Google Mobile Services like Google Map,
Gmail, Google Search, YouTube, Google Calendar and Android Market.
The Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 packs an 800MHz dual-core processor under
3.27 inch HVGA screen, and a 3MP camera. This device allows connectivity
through HSDPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, DLNA, NFC and USB. The phone has
512MB RAM and 4GB internal memory with expandable up to 32GB through
microSD slot, and runs on 1300mAh battery. The Galaxy Mini 2 will
initially be launched in France during March.
In the meantime, Samsung has also revealed it's latest Galaxy Note 10.1.
The Note features a microphone, a button to attach files, besides its
trademark Stylus pen. Further details will be given in a separate
