Samsung brings Galaxy Tab 7.7 to India

Samsung brings New 7.7-inch Honeycomb tablet with a high-resolution Super AMOLED Plus display to India

Galaxy Tab 7.7
Samsung just launched the upgrade to its first Galaxy Tab tab 7.0. It was sure that Samsung would refresh that initial model, and add more to the line up post-releasing the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 .

It was already hyped that samsung would slowly upgrade all their Rs. 15000 above devices to Super Amoled Screens.

As we have witnessed in the Wave Series, Galaxy Note and Omnia Series, the same was expected by us for the Tab versions.

Galaxy Tab 7.7 's display has the advantages of Super AMOLED Plus (brightest screen - visible in direct sun light) along with a excellent resolution of 1280 by 800 pixels.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 holds a 1.4GHz dual-core processor; with Android 3.2.6 version ready, upgradable to ICS. The best feature about the Tab 7.7 is that it still holds the classic GSM / 3G calling feature - just as the original 7" Tab had. Although, it looks weird placing a 7.7 inches block on my face.

The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a perfect sized tablet to reduce the gap between the mobiles and tablets. Also, this Tab has enough muscles to take over the readers tabs like Amazon's Kindle.

A brilliant feature included in the device is the Universal Remote Control functionality, so you can control your home entertainment system components like Blu-Ray players, Smart TVs etc.

For Connectivity, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 offers HSPA+ 21mbps networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n

Now coming to that particular thing which actually is setting Samsung Devices above in the market competitions is the Battery life. I am sure millions of Android Users would have just one single complaint, that's their phone dies in 13 - 18 hours. Samsung has brilliantly overcome these issues for the bigger screen devices by bring long lasting batteries. For example, Samsung Galaxy Note has a 25 mAh battery which easily lasts over a day and a half. Even the Galaxy Tab 7.7’s 5100 mAh battery will provide up to 10 hours of video playback.

The thing we missed  or let's say expected in this version is the USB 2.0 slot, which we saw in Acer Tabs. Instead of the Micro SD slots, Samsung should have actually placed a USB port for the Flashdrives connectivity.

Also, Learning the fact that there are convertors present for Samsung Devices to convert the micro USB port to a HDMI port and USB port, I wonder if it works on this Tab 7.7 too..
Priced at Rs 34000, the device is surely gonna be a super hit.
