Yahoo has updated its Yahoo! Messenger application for Android devices. The company has uploaded the up-to-date version of app to Google Android Market.
Users can install the latest Yahoo Messenger app to their Android smartphones or tablets. Yahoo has upgraded a few existing features and added some new features to its Messenger app.
The page of Yahoo! Messenger on Android Market reads “Experience the faster, smarter, richer Yahoo! Messenger – made for your Android.”The upgraded version offers feature like users can add their current location to chats, free voice & video calls in beta phase, ability to talk with Facebook and Windows Live contacts and share videos & pictures.
However, those who would like to take benefits of free calling service, they need to install latest version of Yahoo Messenger video and voice plug-in to access the call feature.The app also allows users to send text messages to mobile in several countries including USA, India, Canada, Kuwait and more.
Furthermore, Yahoo!, the second largest search engine of the world, recently joins hands with Microsoft Bing with the intention to acquire large stack of search engine market.
