RIM to offer free BlackBerry Playbook for any Android Developer

Research In Motion, the maker of BlackBerry devices including BlackBerry Playbook tablet has officially announced that Company is now offering a new BlackBerry Playbook to any Android Developer who will build Android Application and which will be compatible with BlackBerry Playbook and upload to its App World. In January, RIM unveiled an update 2.0 for the Playbook, which would permit Android Apps to run on their Tablet PC.
Developer of Android platform who upload apps before Feb 14 will be awarded with 16GB version of the Playbook tablet for free, but there is a one condition, according to RIM, the app must meet BB app world Vendor Guidelines and some terms and conditions that are mainly designed to prevent any misuse of this promotional offer.
I think this one is fantastic encouragement for developers, who are really enthusiastic and would like to make their mark on Blackberry App world.
And of course, this is one of the smart moves by the company, which will help them to offer lots of apps on their App World and bring in hype for RIM, which is most required after the shocking time they had in 2011 with the server crashes.
