QuadCore Monsters:LG Optimus 4X vs HTC One X

One of the most notable changes seen at this past MWC was the significant rise of Android quad-core-powered devices with large HD screens.

However, two of the most prominent phones with multi-core processors were HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X.

Apart from the slight change in design, the phones have almost same features, about same size and weight.

The HTC One X and LG Optimus 4X both operate on Android Ice Cream Sandwich and 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 chip.

The One X has a Super IPS LCD2 display and the Optimus 4X has HD-IPS LCD, both the screens are of 4.7-inch, and support multi-touch. Each of the phones feature two cameras, an 8MP autofocus LED flash and a front one with 1.3MP.

Although the One X supports simultaneous recoding of photos and videos. Both the phones have 1GB RAM, while the 4X has 16GB internal memory and a microSD slot and One X only has 32GB internal storage space, no external memory slot.

Additionally, the phones have accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity and compass sensors.Either of the phones allow connectivity through HSDPA, Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth, while the One X also supports NFC pairing. The LG Optimus 4X runs on powerful battery of 2140mAh whereas the HTC One runs on 1800mAh battery.Nonetheless, if there is any more difference, it could not be known until the handsets come out in the Q2.
